The mountains create ideal atmospherically circumstances to grow vines. The high temperatures during summer days create a strong skin on the grape. The wind that picks up in the afternoons cools the air down, so the roots stay cool, which is a good natural remedy to prevent many diseases. This is one of the reason why these hills were covered in vines dating back to the Roman times.

This particular bodega has at present approximately 1 hectare of full grown vines (Garnacha, Merlot, Syrah and some Tempranillo) and 1 hectare plantation from 2019 of Merlot. On the finca there is a possibility to extend the plantation with another 5 – 6 hectares. The current owner also purchases grapes in addition to its own production. The yearly production is approximately 7.000 – 8.000 bottles. The bodega is licensed for 150 hectoliters (approx. 25.000 bottles).

The winery is fully equipped for a production of around 10.000L. There is sufficient space to extend containers and barrels to increase the capacity. Bottling and labeling is done at the land as well.

The building has a fermentation room with lab facilities, a storage room, a barrel room and a ‘sala de catas’, tasting room. Eno-tourism is an interesting source of income for all the bodegas in the area.

All the licences are in place to take over this business without any headache.
